NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The BRSCC Avon Tyres National Formula Ford 1600 Championship will have a higher profile than ever in 2018 as it becomes a key support series for the TCR UK touring car category. The Pro National Championship is a cost-effective launchpad for young, career minded drivers and, subject to certain criteria, whoever wins the title is eligible to take part in a potentially career defining event as they are handed a ticket for the 2018 Mazda Road to Indy USF2000 $200k Scholarship Shootout where the winner will receive a $200k scholarship to graduate into the following year's Cooper Tyres USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda, the first step on the Mazda Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tyres. Those who compete for fun are also catered for with a Clubman Class that runs within the main series providing everyone with something to aim for. The series offers plenty of track time for all drivers with 7 Triple Header meetings and 1 Double Header. When the weekend includes is a third race, this will feature a partially reversed grid.
